Meet Mareaka

You don’t need another person talking at you about money.

You need someone who can look at the whole picture, explain what actually matters, and help you make a decision you feel confident about.

Hi, I’m Mareaka Bunch, MAcc, EA, ChFC®, founder of Pink Ivory Wealth.

I help women entrepreneurs take the money they're working so hard to make and build an actual financial life around it.

Because somewhere between growing the business, paying taxes, taking care of everybody else and handling the next thing on your list...

your own wealth plan can get pushed to the side.

Pink Ivory is where we bring it back to the table.

I’ve spent years looking at money from the business side.

My background is in accounting, tax and financial strategy.

As an accountant and Enrolled Agent, I've spent years working with business owners and seeing what happens inside the business.

The revenue.

The taxes.

The cash flow.

The decisions.

But there was always another piece of the conversation.

A woman could have a successful business and still be asking:

Am I actually on track for retirement?

How much should I be investing?

Am I keeping too much money in the business?

What happens if I can't work?

Can I actually afford this big purchase?

How do I make sure all this work turns into something for me and my family?

Those aren't bookkeeping questions.

They're wealth-planning questions.

And they're a big part of why I created Pink Ivory Wealth.

Business money and personal wealth are connected.

Your business doesn't live in one financial universe while your personal life lives in another.

A decision to increase your salary can affect your taxes, savings and retirement.

Keeping more cash in the business can affect what you're able to build personally.

Your retirement plan may depend partly on what happens to the company you've spent years building.

And your personal goals can change what the business needs to produce in the first place.

I understand both sides of that equation.

That's one of the biggest things I bring to the table.

The letters behind the advice

I hold a Master of Accounting (MAcc) and am an Enrolled Agent (EA) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®).

But credentials only matter if I can use that knowledge to help you make better decisions.

My accounting and tax background helps me understand the financial engine behind your business.

My financial-planning training allows us to widen the conversation to retirement, investments, insurance, cash flow, estate considerations, risk, family responsibilities and long-term wealth.

Instead of treating those as completely separate conversations, we can look at how they affect one another.

Because that's how your actual life works.

What working with me feels like

I want you involved in your financial decisions.

That doesn't mean you need to become a financial planner yourself.

It means I'm not going to hand you recommendations you don't understand and expect you to blindly follow them.

I'll tell you what I'm seeing.

We'll talk about why it matters.

I'll explain your options.

We'll determine what makes sense for your goals.

And you'll leave knowing what you're supposed to do next.

Sometimes that conversation might get technical.

That's okay.

I'll translate.

Why advice-only?

Because I wanted Pink Ivory to be built around the advice itself.

Pink Ivory Wealth does not take custody of your investments or place trades on your behalf.

When investment advice falls within your engagement, I can help you evaluate your strategy and make recommendations based on your goals, timeline, risk tolerance and broader financial plan.

Then you decide what gets implemented.

Your money stays in accounts you control.

My job is to help you make informed decisions about it.

And yes, I’m an entrepreneur too.

I understand this from more than the technical side.

I know what it's like when your income is connected to something you're building.

There are business goals.

Personal goals.

Taxes.

Cash reserves.

Investments.

Family decisions.

And approximately 47 other things competing for the same dollar.

So when we build your financial strategy, we're not pretending your business doesn't exist.

We plan around the reality that it does.

Your business has a strategy.

Your wealth should too.

If you've gotten good at making money but aren't quite as confident about what should happen with that money next, that's what we're here to work through.

You don't need to arrive with everything organized perfectly.

You just need to be ready to have the conversation.
